What each release stage means

Package generation

Creates configuration, source files, notes, and checklists.

Cloud compilation

Runs a configured GitHub Actions build; account setup and Actions usage are required.

Signing

Uses valid platform credentials; iOS signing assets and developer membership are required.

Store upload

Transfers a validated matching build to the selected store workflow.

Processing

Apple or Google validates and processes the upload on its own timeline.

Final approval

Controlled by Apple or Google and never included or guaranteed by LaunchLayer.

No local Mac is required for configured cloud iOS builds; Apple Developer membership, valid signing credentials, a successful cloud build, and device or TestFlight verification are still required.
